This Privacy Policy details how Mayor Richard C. Irvin (“we” or “us”) collects, uses and discloses information about you when you use or access our website which links to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “site”).

This policy is subject to change at any time. Changes will be denoted by an updated effective date at the top of this privacy policy. In some cases we may provide additional notice such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending a direct notification. We encourage our users to review the Privacy Policy whenever questions arise regarding the collection and use of data, including but not limited to that of the Personally Identifiable nature so as to stay informed about our practices and the choices available to our users.

  • Information You Provide to Us.  We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you sign up to volunteer for the campaign, receive updates, request information, fill out a form, sign a petition, sign up for an event or to host an event, join our grassroots investment team, create an account, participate in a contest or promotion, make a donation or purchase, submit feedback, communicate with us via third party social media sites request support, send us an email, apply for a job, or otherwise communicate with us.

The types of information we may collect include your name, contact information (including email and phone number), payment information, resume and employment information, demographic information, event information, and any other information you choose to provide.  If you participate in grassroots efforts, we will also collect information that you choose to provide us about your friends and other third parties. We may also collect information as required by the Federal Election Commission as required where necessary. 

  • Automatically Collected Information.  When you access our Site, we may automatically collect information about you, including:
    • Log and Usage Information: We collect information related to your access to and use of the Site, including the type of browser you use, app version, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the page you visited before navigating to our Site.
    • Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Site, including as the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information).
    • Transactional Information: If you make a donation or purchase, we may collect information about the transaction, such as donation amount, purchase price, product details, and date and location of the transaction.
    • Approximate Location Information: We may derive the approximate location of your device, such as from your IP address.
    • Information Collected by Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies: We and our service providers use different technologies to collect information, including cookies and web beacons. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve our Site and your experience, see which areas and features of our Site are popular, and count visits. 2) Campaign Purposes and Uses of Information

We may use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, support, personalize, and improve our Site;
  • Solicit volunteers, donations and support for Mayor Richard C. Irvin and other candidates, issues and organizations we support;
  • Facilitate grassroots organizing;
  • Process donations and transactions;
  • Communicate with you about the campaign or the Site, and respond to your communications and requests;
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Site;

  • If we believe your actions are inconsistent with the spirit or language of our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Mayor Richard C. Irvin , its employees, volunteers, constituents, or others;

We store the information we collect on you for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which we originally collected it, or for other legitimate campaign purposes. We do not collect, process or store financial information on this site - all donations are processed via our trusted 3d party payment vendor Anedot.

5) Links to Other Websites

The Site may contain links to other websites, including sites that contain Mayor Richard C. Irvin branding but are hosted by a third party.  For example, we may link to third-party sites to facilitate donations or purchases or organize and manage events. Any personal information you provide on such linked pages is provided directly to that third party, and such third party’s use of that information is subject to that third party’s privacy policy, and not this privacy policy. Information obtained by Mayor Richard C. Irvin in connection with such linked pages will be treated in accordance with this policy.
